Aluminum Competition A-Frame

Assembly Instructions

Recommended: Two or more people for assembly.

1. Unpack the A-Frame

The A-Frame is supplied in 4 cartons, each containing one half of an A-Frame side.

Place all sections on a flat, level surface.

The flattened cartons can be placed rubber-side down underneath the sections to protect the running surface.

2. Prepare the Connector Brackets

Locate the 4 L-shaped connector brackets used to join the upper and lower sections.

Loosen & remove the bolts from the attached Aluminum bars

3. Join the Upper & Lower Sections

Place the lower section (yellow rubber) below the upper section (blue rubber).

Slide the L-shaped connector bracket along the grooves on both sides of the frame until the holes align with the Interior connector brackets

Align the bars with the grooves in the lower section.

Insert and tighten the screws to secure the sections together.

Note: for easier installation it is best to leave the bolts somewhat loose until you have all bolts inserted.

Repeat for the second A-Frame panel.

4. Install the Bar Holder Brackets

Install the bar holder brackets at the top of both assembled panels.

The PVC profile may need minor adjustment to properly position the brackets.

5. Install the Joiner Bar

Lay both completed panels end-to-end.

Insert the joiner bar through the bar holder brackets.

6. Raise the A-Frame

Two people are recommended for this step.

Roll the assembled A-Frame onto its side.

Open the panels slightly into a V-shape so the A-Frame can remain on its side without support.

Attach the chains.

With one person on each side of the centre lift, carefully roll the A-Frame into the upright position.

Your Competition A-Frame is now assembled.
